Need help on Dark Cloud 2

Ah yes. The darn-hard Gaspard. This is what I did.

The weapon you need is the Chopper, which can be built up from the Gladius, which can be bought at the local weapon shop in Palm Brinks.
Next, go to future Sindain and Starlight Temple(Future Balance Valley), and search for tiny treasure chests. They can have 4 things:
Fruits Of Eden(Build Up HP)
Jewelry(With awesome synthesis upgrades, cost 1 synthesis point)
Potato Pie(Building Max' defence)
and Witch Parfait(Building Monica's defence)
If you find Witch Parfaits or Fruits Of Eden, use them right away on Monica. Now Monica should survive a little longer.

Now, my strategy.

At First:
Lock on at Gaspard.
Be sure to have lots of cheese, bread, or other healing items.

Attacking:
Charge your attack until Gaspard is near. Then attack. While he's on the ground, kick his ass with your combo.
Repeat this until he avoids or guards.

Defending:
When locked on to an enemy, you can dodge if you press and hold the X button, and pushing the left analog stick down.
Make good use of that. When he attacks you, do just 1 thing. HEAL!


So, you're totally kicking his ass, right? And then, the screen gets the shape of an old photo!
No worry, you just switch to Max, and you have to defend Lin from the evil flames.
No prob.
This happens 2 times, then you can defeat Gaspard, but not kill him. Sorry.

Neat! thats easy! But my real problem is the WEAPON CHOICE OF DOOM!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant pick the right weapon, and when i find a weapon, i get my butt kicked trying ta get a better weapon. Its so annoying. What weapon do you recommend? :wink:
