Well, I haven't updated in a while. Here's something I'm currently working on. Let me know what you think.

Custodians are quite entertaining, but just not when you have a million things to do, you're trying to produce a movie, your friends aren't there for you like they were back in the 5th grade, and you have about 7 teachers shoving down your throat homework and projects every single day. Before I get ahead of myself, I would just like to say this: teens exaggerate everything. Maybe that's why there's so much so-called "drama" in their lives. I mean, my life has got to be the most boring thing ever. Sure, I can hang out with my friends after school and things like that, but it's still a perpetual, never-ending routine. Okay, there I go blowing things out of proportion again. Hey, I'm not as bad as the typical teen. So, back to the custodian incident.
There I was, standing in the dimly lit drama room. I see a guy with a baseball cap staring into the window. I thought to myself, perv. Thankfully I didn't say that out loud. Instead I asked my friends, "Hey, who's that guy standing there?"
He opened the door and looked a little surprised. "Who's that guy?" he inquired as if he could not believe I didn't know who he was.
"Sorry," I said, a little apprehensive that I had upset him. His frown soon turned into a grin to my relief. He had a great smile that accented his dimples. Donning a waterproof coat, black jeans, and a pair of sneakers, his smile lit up the room. It was infectiously contagious. He continued his little rant. "I'm the custodian of this floor. Haven't you seen me around?"
By this time, my friends had gathered around to participate in the conversation. One of my close friends, Erika, suddenly piped up, "Yeah, I've seen you around, haven't you, Suzi?" I turned red and glared at her. You can always count on Erika to ruin the mood and embarrass you; yet somehow I was still her friend. The custodian had continued to ramble on about his duties as a custodian, not a janitor. I nodded, seemingly with interest. I suppressed the urge to ask him to politely leave. Unfortunately, my friends were entranced by his beauty.
Lauren, the most boy-crazy girl ever, sweetly asked him his name. He grinned as he said it was a popular Roman name.
Remembering my Latin teacher's words, I blurted out, "Marcus." He turned to me in surprise and smiled again.
"Right, but you guys can just call me Marc." I'm not quite sure, but I think he winked at me. I averted my eyes. "Well, it was a please to meet you guys. See you 'round." He took his broom and trashcan and left.
"Oh my gosh, how gorgeous is he?" Lauren squealed. I rolled my eyes as my friends murmured in agreement. I just didn't get the same vibe from him as they did.

Shouldn't that be in the past tense. I saw a guy with a baseball cap staring into the window. Anyways, I'll stop being a prick. I thought it was pretty interesting. By the way, you mentioned Latin, and the name Marcus, did you happen to take course with a textbook named, "Ecce Romani I"?

Terminus-thanks for the input. Actually, I worked with the book, "Latin for Americans I".
