I am sorry about that. How's she mentally?

Very happy. Quite herself. Is discombobulated when she stumbles and falls is all. Still jumps up on things - then falls over - and down - then falls over.

Eating, schmooching, purring - trotting about a bit less, and waverily - but her normal sweet self.

Edit: Only happened late Sunday night - (Saturday for you) - so I am hoping for some real improvement before her condition stabilizes.

Crossed paws.

Lol - speaking of black humour - has been some couple of days.

Sunday night/Monday - cat had a stroke, found out an old friend had just died of breast cancer.

Tuesday: Got to work to discover a client's bio mum had been murdered - so had to go out to help with the news breaking. Upon leaving the house, I moved aside politely to allow someone else out on to the weird little platform outside their door - forgetting the narrowness of said platform, and fell like a felled tree onto the hard paving below.

Unfortunately, did not die, which would have been the only dignified thing to do in the circumstances.

Better to live like a worm than die like a king, since the former can feast on the latter.

(a woodworm may feast on a ladder)

Hmmm - I was somewhat of a flatworm (or platyhelminthes to be exact) after the incident.

I suppose I could have inched away, and not made a meal of it.

I wish I could get that on tape and pin you down, but you're off the hook, being on the other side of the earth and all.

I was going to say something, but it'd open a whole new can of worms.

Men have died from time to time, and worms have eaten them, but not for love.

I did indeed.

Amused me, and made me merry for more than twelve nights - made me dream many a midsummer night away - and it ends well.
