What’s the best way to reduce mankind’s contribution to climate change and the anomalies that follow it?
@MiaraKalig,
Governments could send every family a voucher for a free tree seedling.
@MiaraKalig,
That may not be the best way but it couldn't hurt.
@MiaraKalig,
Wind towers could be built that would catch hundreds of times more wind than just the blades of windmills, and they would be hundreds of times more powerful.
@Ponderer,
I wish there was a way to prevent killing birds with them. 328,000 birds
Wind turbines kill an estimated 140,000 to 328,000 birds each year in North America, making it the most threatening form of green energy.Mar 16, 2016

More nuclear reactors. Preferably sodium-cooled reactors so we will not have any long-lived nuclear waste.
Although perhaps those 100% safe graphite-moderated helium-cooled prismatic reactors will work if they can truly achieve a very high fuel burnup. There is something to be said for 100% safety. But I'd want them to really achieve a high fuel burnup in order to minimize long-lived nuclear waste.
@cicerone imposter,
Hey, I proposed millions of new homes for birds. What do you Want from me?
@Ponderer,
Not blaming you for anything. Just saying.
@MiaraKalig,
Vertical solar towers. Parabolic mirrors focused on steam-driven generators. Mirrors could be motorized and programmed to track the sun. Steam locomotives were very powerful.

Two extreme solutions: either across-the-board global celibacy or mass suicide. Both aren't too palatable. #justsaying
