No, not at all, if they didn't become involved, how could they love you?
What when arranged marriages in India end in divorce? Won't you blame them then?
Too true...often times children pass judgement too quickly and only when they have their own children do they see their mistake. It is often too late then is it not?
I cannot agree with arranged marriages. However, I understand they think they know best. It is becoming an important issue in the UK and so it should. We should all be allowed to pick our most beloved, don't you think?
True my parents did thought they dont' seem to have the same in mind for me thought that can change can it not?
India's Spiderly generation will surely change things. Don't you trust me?
I rather think the oriental parents in the occidental world, have learned much and see things have to change. Are you very wary of how your parents would react to your suitor?
Would you really like to know? Alright then I shall tell you: If they don't first shoot him then they will barrage him with questions, if they don't kill him at that time then they will have a complete background check done on him and his whole immediate family. If they haven't embarrased the $h!t out of him at that time then he might be able to go on one date with me...after wich a marrage would be set in place.
I am aware.
It has to be stopped doesn't it?
That means the mindset of Indian parents in the western world too hasn't changed yet?
Oh, some have, I have many Indian friends who are extremely occidental in their outlook on thesae matters. Do you appreciate things are changing, and once the ball starts rolling it soon picks up speed?
Not if they come from the West Indies

Which I don't mind because I know it will get better. We shall always have hope shall we not?
Of course, but you are part of the change, you and Spidergal, you are aware of that aren't you?
Don't you think we need to stir the hopes with some action?
Yes but change takes time does it not?
Atleast we have got started? Isn't that something to be cheerful about?
No it does not, you are viewing important changes as needing to be immediate, it does not work that way. You know that, don't you?
What an absolute educational session, congratulations, are you in the process of changing the world?
No just our parents view on marrage...Us being Indian girls there is something that has to be changed. Would you agree?
Not really. Trying to figure out what needs to be changed. Wouldn't my companions agree?
