Newspaper hype Dutchy, those bones in the foot are so small and insignificant, we have all probably fractured the odd one or two in our lifetimes; Hobble about for a day or two, bit of a rub with horse liniment and Bobs your uncle. You watch, he will be there from the outset.

Have you never experienced that?

Experienced the inexplicable?

(Pleased to hear that Mathos, perhaps a bit of politics behind all the hype)

As to winning the tournament, yes I think we are in with a very good chance, but there is always the fact, that a ball can bounce in the most peculiar ways and let's face it, anything can happen.

Don't you think it is really a golden opportunity for the top world team managers (country wise) to establish who the best players are and get the cheque books out for the start of next season?

A friend of mine pays an astronomical sum every year for his private box at Old Trafford. He likes to impress his friends with regular invitations.

I smile to myself when I think of a young Mathos in short pants, with a runny nose, we wiped our noses on our shirt cuffs, selling programmes there many moons ago for sixpence each (old currency = two and a half pence today) and as long as your money checked out ok you were into the game for free. Passed over everybodys heads down to the touchline, if you were lucky, Matt Busby would ruffle your head once in a while, and Tommy Taylor or Duncan Edwards would give you his autograph which you sold for another sixpence at school. £20,000..00 for a box delights me.

Have you ever been to Old Trafford?

Absolutely great football, watch direct telecasts from time to time, and enjoy the enthusiasms of the crowds. Why they never perform on the world scene is a mystery to me, perhaps they will make amends at WK06?

Do you think players are loyal to their clubs these days, or is money more important?

I think loyalty, as it is in most aspects of life is down to the individual, however, the Premiership has such a vast range, £2000..00 weekly to £125,000..00 or more weekly, if the players have the skill, they obtain the top wages from the top clubs, those in the lower depths of the Premiership really have to take what is offered, if a better offer comes along or a Spanish team is interested, there is no loyalty.

Don't you think some of the salaries are phenomenal?
