Certainly they count - He sounds like our Shawn Majumder - an East Indian Newfoundlander - as he says, the two most ridiculed people in Canada (I don't know if that's true, but...)...

do you like british films?

Yes Smile I like a good variety but overall I don't really care for movies... I'd rather read. Very few good films out there, in my opinion.

What do you think?

You've probably gone to bed like I will soon, but I'll answer you anyway...

I read murder mysteries, biographies, books on how things are made or done, real life adventures like the search for the NW passage or various expeditions (Franklin, Scott), Everest, etc... I like some fiction, I like Stephen Jay Gould (love him, actually)...I read for information and entertainment. I must be a shallow person because I have no interest in philosophizing, debating or crusading... I don't want too much real life.

And you, what do you read?

Everything. Like you I like stuff ranging from adventure, to history, to fiction, to biographies. Throw in a bit of science fiction, Arthurian legend, yes, and some of the Russian suicidals, now and then.

I am trying to map out a Gothic horror children's story. Do you think that could work?

Wouldn´t the unnatural mutation of this thread into a thread uncannily resembling the Questions Game constitute a Gothick novel?

wouldnt you agree that by going on to so many trivia/games posts at a time, one gets a bit lost in it all?
