Do you have special terms in baseball?

(Silly Mid On means a fielding position on the leg side, forward of the striker's wicket and very close to the batsman, a static position designed to catch the ball from a misplaced block or other defensive shot.)

How are you feeling Dutchy? You still awake? (so sorry you are under the weather! I meant to tell you that last night! Sad )

(we do have special terms in baseball - right fielder, left fielder, center fielder, pitcher, catcher, batter - well there is short stop - but he is there to fill the space between 2nd and third base...more right handed hitters in baseball, - ...as you can see they are pretty straightforward! Laughing )

I am definitely not feeling Dutchy, so don't ask me; how! As I am not into all this cricket mumbo-jumbo, can you give me a call when something interesting comes up; I know that might take a while? Laughing

Don't you have covered air conditioned stadiums like we have here, where sports are played all your round?

(Melbourne's Telstra Dome holds 55.000 where they can play foorball all year round)

(it's capacity is 72,003 - Sugar Bowl - which I have been to quite a bit has had as many as 79,000 people in attendance...how does that happen?)

Haven't you heard that necessity is the mother of invention? A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do....How are you feeling?

(never done it before - got an estimate from a place my MIL told me to check---they wanted $600 per chair...too rich for my blood.)

Not to bad thanks. I admire your guts and initiative, just awesome, you know that?

(600 bucks for a chair sounds a bit rich, buy a new one for that money)

Do you know how the chair got broke?

Miss mi calls me and says, "Please come over here and help me. I have a killer jigsaw puzzle, and I can't figure out how to get it started."

I ask, "What is it supposed to be when it's finished?"

She says, "According to the picture on the box, it's a tiger."

I decided to go over and help with the puzzle.

She let me in and shows me where she has the puzzle spread all over the table.

I looked at the pieces for a moment, then looked at the box and said, "First of all, no matter what we do, we're not going to be able to assemble these pieces into anything resembling a tiger. Second, I'd advise you to relax. Let's have a cup of coffee, then ...........

…"Let's put all these Frosties back in the box."

Can you believe that?
