Hi!
Can anyone help me the meaning of "what might otherwise follow from these General Conditions" in the following sentence?

"Regardless of what might otherwise follow from these
General Conditions, either party shall be entitled to terminate the
Contract by notice In Writing to the other party if performance
of the Contract is suspended under Clause 41 for more than six
months."

In spite of what else might happen as a result of these conditions, . ..

( but get a legal interpretation)
