The Greatest Action Movie of all time is Fight Club. People might think its all about Street Fighting, but theres alot more to it.
this could be discussed for a very very long time. i am willing to give the top few. here is my list:
1. Pulp Fiction
2. Braveheart
3.Lethal weapon series
4.Kill bill volume 2
5.Deathwish 1-4 (lol tony)
All time is quite a long time. What about "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," "An Eye for an Eye" (Norris), "Predator," or "Dr. No?"
I Dont Really Like Arnold But the Good the Bad and the Ugly was a great movie and on my top list list of favorite movies
Ick predator? i almost fell asleep watching that movie. most of the other people i was with though loved it. i dont get it... i dont get the attraction to Arnold either but that's just me.

When you're using a helicopter machine gun as a hand weapon, that's an action movie.
im not. funkyhoward is someone i know. and we created the names funkystu and funkyhoward together. my name is not stu. and his name it nos howard. okay?
haha theres an arguement going on in my grand ole topic..
Another Great movie I enjoyed watching was The Usual Suspects. The ending is just unreal, It was just that good.
Then, there is always, "The Terminator."
Great "Terminator" Moments:
"It can't be bargained with, it can't be reasoned with, it doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear, and it absolutely will not stop ever until you're dead.
"Come with me if you want to live."
"There is no fate but what we make for ourselves."
"Raiders of the Lost Ark" hands down with a nod for "The Dirty Dozen."
Hmm, never considered "The Seven Samurai" as an action movie but a psychological drama involving several social issues inherant in early Japanese society. I think an action flick is such because is propelled forward almost exclusively by high drama action with not much room for quiet, contemplative sections nor character development. "Samurai" spends a considerable amount of time on especially character development.
There is also "Speed."
Get ready for the rush hour......
Now that's a film that qualifies as an action film! Wall-to-wall.
Also, "Die Hard," the first one being the best by far. II and II suffered from enormous plot loopholes and rather routine action sequences -- I am not looking forward to "Die Hard IV: The Golden Years"
"The Wild Bunch" may not have been the most action filled but it might have been the most blood soaked (considering quality films only). I'm not counting war films where we have thousands of bodies to spurt blood.
Adventure thriller is another handle for films that can fall into the action category (actually, the genre is often labeled "action thriller" anyway).
I love "ffolkes" with Roger Moore and can return to that film once every few years for some chills and spills:
