Just off the top of my head - not feeling great, but i'm always scared to post anything i've really thought about. At least if this is **** then i can tell myself it's cos it was written spontaneously
I walk alone
Without the comfort i have come to require
Without a careful guiding hand
Or a soft word as my companion
I walk in darkness
Without the torch you carried
Without your smile to light my way
Unseeing in the black
I walk through despair
Without the companionship that has lifted me so far
Without your soft encouragement
Without you
Nicely said!
Sounds like a growing journey,
trying, but worthwhile.
Keeping our own torch lifted is something
that every genuine individual must grapple with.
At least you are awake to it and can appreciate what
the journey is!

Hey just remenber that we never walk alone, but the light of our torches are simply to small to see the people who walk beside us!!
