Which movie is the best spy thriller? Is it a stand alone or franchise film?
Is it basically impossible fantasy or real world grit?
Best espionage franchise: Bourne, Bond, English, Hunt, Salander, Powers, Flint, Helm, Cortez, Ryan, Bonisseur de La Bath, Palmer, Kingsman, etc...?
Which protagonist would win in a death match?
My all time favorite is the original version of THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR, with Redford and Sydow. The Bondmovies were fun but kinda pimped out.

I liked Harry Palmer, the archetypal anti Bond, showing doing things that Bond would never do like grocery shopping. Or arguing about his cover name.
