Unsure of the title :(

I remember watching a movie years ago and can't remember it.. Details of the movie are - The opening scene teenagers are riding around in a car and shoot a coffee cup on top of a police officers car with a bbgun and during the movie they one guy is a star athlete I'm pretty sure its based on an indian reservation because i remember casinos in the movie and i remember them betting on football games ? Please help its killing me I've been searching for this movie for 2 weeks. I also think its not that popular.

Do you have any additional information to go on? Perhaps the decade it was shot in (80's, 90's? early 2000's?) Is it comedy or drama or action or coming of age? Contemporary or historical? Are the protagonists Caucasian, African American, Asian, or of native american heritage?

What you describe now doesn't ring a bell...

I'm not sure when it was shot unfortunately! Its definitely a drama. the main character is Caucasian i remember that and then hes the star football quarterback and this Native teenager gives him an arrowhead necklace ( I cant remember his name but I think its Ray or something like that) I've looked forever for this movie searching everything for little details or anything and can't find anything.

Also during the movie these 2 casinos get in a feud and someone blows up the sign on one of the casinos
