I've been dying my hair to a light ash blonde for several years. Today I did so again following the directions for root touch up. After rinsing and towel drying my hair it had turned a silvery purple. The company is closed and I cannot get their help until tomorrow. But I need help now! What can I do to correct this?
@Kburton7028,
Try shampooing your hair with Johnson's Baby Shampoo, its an old trick that will take the purple out. I used Born Blond (I don't know if they even make that anymore) on previously lightened hair and it turned pale purple. The baby shampoo is harsh on color and your hair should look a lot better. At least until you can call the company or a trusted colorist.
