His death certificate may have his birth date.

You may be able to find Church records that have his birth date.

You may be able to find marriage records that have his birth date

You may be able to find a death notice or obituary that will have his birth date.

You may not be able to find his exact date of birth.

Do you know when he was baptized, married, died?

The 1900 census should give his month of birth.

If his gravestone is legible, the older stones often put both born and died dates on them.

Some old grave stones, or Death notices gave how old the person was in years, months and days.

Then one can calculate birthdate with that information.
