Snow On March 24, in Providence Rhode Island
Whatever You pour Lord,
We always drain our cup,
And we soulfully vow
to just, 'offer it up',
Plague and pestilence,
Quake, hurricane,
You've sent our way Lord,
We didn't complain,
We accepted our pennance,
We shouldered our pain
and willingly suffered
again and again,
Though Your Way is inscrutable,
We know that You know best,
We don't try to understand,
We just endure each test,
But on March twenty-fourth?
MORE white fluffy stuff?
Oh come on Lord!
Enough is enough!

A-men!!!
(No snow here but 31 and there *could* be. Bleaaaaaahhhhhh...)
I don't want snow.
...I want my daffodils.
Snow On March 24, in the Golden Horseshoe
I live in the Golden Horseshoe
A place where fruit trees grow
This morning I am blue, why so
We have 2 feet of new snow
I looked out the window in wonder
My heart was all asunder
I wish we had got thunder
Instead of this 2 feet of snow
Gotta go and start the dang snow blower
I really hope it starts to go
Oh, no! What if it doesn't start?
How does my garden grow?
Take this snow to Canada Lord,
I'm weary of this stuff,
Drop this snow on Canada Lord,
They just can't get enough!

Rhode Island is the place to be
Take this snow and set me free
Take 2 feet and make it three
Rhode Island is the place to be
Or better yet make us both free
Take the stuff to Washington, D.C.
:-)

I most heartily agree
This stuff belongs in Wash. D.C.
It might even do the trick
of cooling blowhards' rhetoric,
Take this snow Lord, and, we pray,
Dump it all on Tom Delay.
The above post is best sung along to the tune of the old Green Acres TV show :-)
