HTML tables in IE/Firefox

Ok, first of all this is for a class and is not a real e-commerce website and secondly, the design part of the project was due a long time ago, so you're not doing my homework for me. I just opened this up in IE today, because I was curious as to how it looks and was shocked.

Open that up in Firefox and then in IE. You'll see the problem...

Firefox reads the <table width='100%'> only as wide as the CSS frame, but IE interprets it really weird (I can't quite figure out why it's doing what it's doing).

Any ideas/help/suggestions at all would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I set the centercontent width equal to 100% and now it displays great in IE but crappily in Firefox. The problem completely reversed. It looks how it did in IE now in Firefox...

try setting the width using a pixel measurement like you did for the left column.

That somewhat works, but then it's a static width and won't look good at all resolutions/window sizes....
