A worker stands on the rook of a 45.0 m high building, which is under construction. He carries a bag of debris and throws it down giving it an initial velocity of 12.0 m/s at an angle 33.0 with the vertical.

a. how long is the bag in flight?
b. How far from the building does the bag land?
c. What is the bag’s final speed just before it hits the ground?

a use h=u+gt
b use d=v sin 33 t (using t from above)
c use Pythagoras to combine vertical component (12 cos 33 t) with horizontal component (12 sin 33)

EDIT CORRECTION
Note that u=12 cos 33 in part a and that the correct equation is
d=ut + .5 gt^2 to get t.
