I am trying to install my Adobe photo De Lux program disc onto a new PC which is win XP, and I keep getting the following message

16 bit Windows Subsystem

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

CLOSE IGNORE

neither of these two options work can anyone advise?
