"This is the phone; a mass of gaudy plastic temptation that promises me of getting out from here.Maybe Egypt as well", I said to myself.

And I picked the phone receiver.

No, it wasn't dead.But, it was issuing some strange sounds.These sounds were like many people speaking endlessly, and without hearing each other.They were speaking with the strangest language you could ever hear.A language which had a lot of belches and cracks letters.They were like the twenty ninth, and thirtieth alphabet, but what kind of alphabet?!

I pushed the button manytimes, hoping that this fuss would come to an end.But, it was useless.I yelled hello manytimes, but nobody heard me.I put the phone down in despair.Ok, I wasn't that silly to think that a mission like this would end so easy.

The sound was continuous, but weakened.I realized this, knowing that it was coming from the vault.The vault of the house number five.I entered it twice to help Ms.Bankroft in something.It was an ordinary cellar that had some empty baggage.It had also tons of rubbish things like an old grmophone, a manikin, and countless newspapers.

But, the sound was coming from there.I noticed-surprisingly-that it was the same sound I heard from the phone before.I also noticed that the hair in my arms had stood up.It was like what happens to a cat's fur when you rubs it until it's full of static.

"This place is full of static electricity", I told myself
