Hi, I need your help, please.
When I upload an animated gif to my website via Frontpage 2000, the gif won't animate in IE.
now, when I use the preview tab in FP, it animates just fine. Also, when I look at the gif in the Windows photo viewer thing, it animates there, too.
But not in IE.
What may be wrong? How can I fix this?
Thanks,
General Tsao
Here's a link
Here's a link to just one example. On my computer, the photo in the first column (a candle) does not animate in IE.

Other people tell me they can see it just fine, though.
What's up with that?
THanks for your help!

It looks good in IE 6 and firefox. I wonder if you have a setting in IE that has been switched?
Like what, for instance? Where might I find a .gif setting?
Thanks again,
General Tsao
Your settings may be at fault but it's also a HUGE image for web. It may not animate correctly without finishing to download and at over 1 MB it can take a while on some connections.
You should limit the use of images over 50KB and that image is over 1000KB.
Even little things won't animate for me
Thanks, Craven. Even little .gifs won't animate for me. For instance, nothing on
www.animationfactory.com, and they have small graphics.
