I am the lounging ear
I am sound, I am silence
I am the deafening roar of traffic symphony
And the decay of modern perception
Made by man, but now man's maker
I am the long dead king you see every day
You hate me, my maker, for what I've become
But you love me dearly in your heart's greed
And as sanity slips I am gone
Hmmm i like it.... well most of it
"the lounging ear" grates on me a little...
but i definitely like the traffic symphony and "made by man, but now man's maker"
Good effort
I liked itÂ…not sure what theme you had in mind, but the last line reminded me of Vincent Van Gogh.
I don't know where the lounging ear fits into it other than as being another name for the word I had in mind. It's sort of a riddle.
