A tarp - I am not sure why but whenever you have a list of items and you are supposed to say which items out of this list you should have - the tarp is always an important one.

It's a provision of The Cosmic Law of Necessary Equipment & Supplies

The Law also requires that you have plenty of sheets and boiling water whenever a baby is being born.
