A Trip Down A2k Memory Lane...

post your old avatars here...

i started with felix http://www.able2know.com/forums/images/avatars/gallery/Misc/felix.gif... imagine my embarrasment when i saw msolga was using it already,
so i switched to the now infamous green orb http://www.able2know.com/forums/images/avatars/gallery/Misc/rbp4.gif

the orb caused some heated discussion as to what it actually was (i claimed it was a throat lozenge; others insisted it either was a saline implant, or a nipple accessory...)

a few months ago i elicited the services of jpinmilwaukee, the david copperfield of avatar manipulation, to give orb an overhaul...

I'm using my avatar from the beginning (remembering some irratation, because it was the first moving avatar here). Had substitute avatars at two christmas times and (thanks to Set) some weeks my old Navy ID card photo as avatar.

Oh my. I can't remember for sure. I started as the startled-looking baby that many newbies have chosen since -- it just has "newbie" all over it. Then I was a spate of other things briefly, including variations of Rosie (this is one that I "made", cropped from the original poster). Rosie has had a cheesehead on a few times, and an icepack (you know, one of those things for nursing hangovers/ headaches) after I lost a bet with Gus re: the outcome of a Packers game. Sigh.

I used to be a very old, very bony little old lady with clodhoppers and a popgun.

Then my son offered to help upgrade my image....

I can't find the image, it was from the a2k avatar collection at the time, and was (I think) a cherub...
otherwise I've had my dog photo up there, typing away...

Oh, man, do I remember Phoenix's first avatar. The moving computer head, which almost seems to predate Walter's.

I've always had Ratbert.

I suppose, this is so, roger. I'm really not sure, if I had another avatar before this one (and thus, I naturally can't remember what it was  ).

Those avatars are still archived here. Browse em for a trip down memory lane (i.e. one of your old avatars is there).

I used to be this guy for a while.

http://www.able2know.com/forums/images/avatars/gallery/male/113.gif

I liked that one. I don't remember why I even switched. Bored, I guess. Then I was a monkey with glasses for about two days, and eventually I settled on the current irresistably sexy avatar that I don today.

Yup, for example shewolfnm's current avatar was first used on A2K by a member called earthmother who only posted for a few days.
