mod rewriting

Hi, I am new here,
I got this 404 error when i try to get MOD Version: 1.0.0 , mod rewrite

what can be the problem, any help

No, I placed in subdirectory, I wonder is it possible to make this problem due to some setting in the server and need to correct by host.

Other thing I did only changes, you mention is 'url mod rewrite' file, not in other file. is that the problem?

Re your first question:

It's possible, try setting the rewritebase as per the instructions in the thread I linked above.

Re your second question:

I don't know what you are asking, please reword it.

Ooops..,
I did the changes you mention in 'phpBB static URLs mod_rewrite 1.0.0', not in other changes in other doc. Is that a problem?
