The Reward of the Love for God
The love for God is its own reward,
Walls and ceilings proving no barrier.
Whether in caves or atop a mountain,
Those who love and give love will be the merrier.
Love does indeed; clear up many a sin,
Not all, this is true, but a beginning should begin
To infuse the solitary life in and of God,
Only those who will be less than a memory
Will find this pattern of life odd.
Look not for death, as it is an end of itself.
Life is a precious factor, its commodity a blessing,
Given to each soul, the body, only a dressing.
The future is promised to no one, this is true,
However, eternity - beginning on earth
Starts and ends with love, eternity on passing death
To give new birth.
Nothing finer on earth or the universe above,
Can surpass this one vital fact, that -
Regardless of belief, THIS is "where it is at" -
The love of and for God - for God IS love.
