The Window to the World
The window to the world is just outside my door,
All I want to see becomes a part of us, and that is for sure.
Trees and homes and stars and all as such
Just the right amount - not too little nor too much.
It gives me a peace, but not one of unconcern,
For I am well aware of many tempers that deeply burn.
Yet there remains a certain joy of reasonable sorts
To know that others laugh and sing and done without retort -
Against sadness and dismal prospects it often seems,
That other's joy I share and with them, my soul gleams.
It's truly amazing how full life becomes unfurled
By sitting, standing and looking through
My window of the world.
Truemale
Why don't you go out the window, then?
