Since when are the pipes INSIDE the home the government's responisblity?
YES - corrosive chemicals caused contamination of the water. That was horrible and upsetting to all residents and the Michigan public.
YES - now the government now claims that has been rectified and the supply is safe (tests just released again the other day).
NOW - the homeowners must monitor their own pipes to ensure that contamination has been cleared. The best thing is a water purifier at the faucet.
No matter - it's the downfall of Flint. You can pick up property in that town for pennies on the dollar.
(Lead levels are off the charts in most Detroit schools, too.)
