Hi
I can remember watching the later film version(I think) of MASH when Klinger wants to get married to his Korean girlfriend.
He shows her a white dress and she says 'you want me to wear a funeral dress?' and he explains in America white is the colour for weddings.
I was wondering if anybody knew the traditional colours for wedding dresses in other countries.
I did a search at google using:
wedding dress + color + culture
and came up with this site that lists a few.

I think the coomon colour is white but nowadays the fashion comes with the golden dresses
