Methinks that both Gus and Region are out for mischief, MMS. I know what you meant.

I've been furiously trying to find the other photos from that holiday, as there is one of me that I might just about dare to post, if I am ever in the right mood.(no promises, mind you)
It is very rare for me to have my pic taken, as I am the one that's usually holding the camera, but this one was taken during my bearded phase, (didn't we ALL have beards back then?...well, maybe the men) and most of my face is covered.

Now.....where IS it?.......

Oooh, can't wait!

Can't remember the context, but hubby and I were recently discussing hairstyles and I remarked that in the 70's, all the men looked gay, and in the 80's, all the women did...

Lovely photo of your wife, who STRONGLY reminds me of someone! I can't figure out who -- a bit of littlek maybe, a great deal of a good friend of mine, and a soupcon of Jennifer Grey...

Apparently, Jennifer Grey messed up her career when she decided to get a "nose job". She did have something special in "Dirty Dancing", but lost that uniqueness after the surgery.

Streisand was smart. She kept her old nose!

I didn't go for the gay look, soz. I had long hair, as everyone did, but I couldn't bring myself to dress up in all the powder puff stuff that some of my mates wore.

I've found a bearded one, but not from that holiday. I'll sit here and think on whether to post it or not.......

Yep, talk about a Freddie Mercury lookalike!


I have got back from walking the dog, and am playing around with trying to get photosuite to make my photo look half decent. I don't know about you, but all my old colour photos seem to go a lovely shade of red, over time.

I WILL post it later, but first I have to stop myself looking like a tomato.

OK, so I gave up on the photosuite thing, as my nose ended up purple and my hair went green.

I will now take out all of the colour and post the bloody thing in black and white.



I hope Shewolf won't be too disappointed, as I know she like shaven heads and all that.

OK...this was taken (I think) in about '80 or '81.

We were on Gozo (just off Malta) and I would have been about 25 ish.

This photo was taken after a hard morning's work, teaching my son to use a snorkel. He was about four at the time, and his mask kept falling off, as we couldn't find one small enough to fit properly.


I shaved off my beard for charity later that year.......in the local pub.
