No IS?

And it's a 10x zoom? Oooh! hehe, My suggestion has 12x, with IS!
Yes, but yours is only a 5 megapixel, and I have a 4.1 now (not that different.) I want something in the 6-7 range. 8 is more than I'll ever need.
The only other one I've found with a great zoom AND image stabilization is an 8 megapixel Nikon for $999...the Olympus is only $379.
My other option would be to go with a digital SLR, but I really don't want something that involved. I want an easy camera so I can concentrate on what/who I'm shooting instead of the mechanics. (I am not good at multitasking.)
I remember the old days when I had a full 35mm rig with interchangeable lenses, filters, etc. Spent WAY more time fiddling with the equipment than shooting. I chunked all of that and went to fully automatic point & shoot digital cameras and haven't looked back. Occasionally I will use a fill-in flash, but that's about it. And my photos have never looked better.
