Just of my pregnant belly that I posted on the parenting board. Cool

Here are a few from the other day. Our dog just turned 1. Smile I still remember posting that I was bringing her home when she was around 10 wks old!

One is of our backyard in Alaska. We plan on building a fence once the summer hits. I mean if you can even call temperatures in the 60's "summer." Wink

Are you able to get out in the snow and enjoy it?

Well, when I'm forced to take the dog out and even then I just stand on the porch. My husband gets the dirty ...wet job of taking her for a walk. Laughing Laughing

Outside of that, I try to only stay outside long enough to get from the car to the store.

I've adjusted a lot better than I thought I would. I've had some throbbing pain in my fingers (from raynaud's disease), but nothing that would make me want to leave this place! Smile We keep thinking it won't be too long before we get tired of the snow.

The dog won't go outside if the snow begins to melt. Refuses to step in it. Loves fresh snow though!

Satt - how often does one see fully kimono'd women walking the streets of Japan's major cities?

I speant toe weekend on Cape Cod. These photos are at Coast Guard Beach in Orleans. The beach is part of the lenghty national seashore. There were human surfers (in dry-suits) and animal surfers (in seal fur) to be seen, but I was enjoying the subtle colors of the late winter landscape.

The resolution is set in your camera probably for a 4" x 6" print.

If you don't mind a small tip though, try 640 x 480 resolution in your camera or photo-editing software before you post, with a maximum 96 dpi. This makes a size appropriate to posting on the web.

Thanks all!

Reyn, I took the photos all on the same camera (my dad's) and on the same day. I don't think I did anything that would have changed the resolution there. I then downloaded them all en masse and edited them the same way. Or didn't I? I guess I must have done something weird.

Can anyone tell where I took the date stamp out of the pictures?

Reyn, thanks for that tip - I'll be getting a digital camera soon.

It was cold! But, you'll notice the grass wasn't blowing - very little breeze. That and the fact that the day before was so bitter made it feel like a nice day at the beach.

Beautiful pictures!

The Atlantic coast is so different than the Pacific coast, yet
not minder breathtaking.

And Yuki has grown! Joa, she's just a happy-go-lucky-dog
and so cute. What happened to the other dogs, the little ones?

satt, is Kyoto still that traditional where every woman wears
a Kimono?
