@sozobe,
Zenni Optical.

I think they're out of Hong Kong. They kept sending E-mails at 3 a.m. Smile Had a slight problem getting them to accept the order, since the pupillary distance was outside of the norm, and we had to explain that yes, it's for a kid.

Yaya's been wearing glasses since she was 4. We've only broken two pair. Keetah's jealous, and keeps stealing the pretty glasses.

oh CJ - I love this pic... it looks like... errrrrr... can't describe it..... like kids leaning on one another .... i know what it looks like.... it's like the pics of mine and FQ's kids as they grew up - we took pics each year of them in height order and them leaning into one another...

that's what it reminds me of - with the glow of the sun on it

love the pic - it's great.

WILSO - you have such a beautiful family. Great shot!

Hey Annie - just wishing to say hello to you from England and hope you are enjoying school. Love Izzie Very Happy

@Robert Gentel,
It indeed is a great spot - even better if you can work there. It's also nice to
sit up at the patio of the Brockton Villa and have some appetizers and watch
the sunset.

@Izzie,
You're right Izzie, it does look a bit like kids leaning to the back. With the sunset
in the distance, the light felt so cozy and warm.

@DrewDad,
Oooh, hot tip! Thanks!

Is shipping outrageous?

@sozobe,
Shipping is very reasonable.

You can several pair for what it would cost to get one pair at the mall. If you're willing to wait more that one hour. Wink

@DrewDad,
Thanks again. Had the appt. yesterday -- they threw up the big E (top line on the eye chart) and she said "uhhh..."

She has 20/400 vision.

Crap.

(At the eye place, she gravitated towards the single most expensive pair of frames they had, naturally.)

@sozobe,
Hey, if she has to have an eye problem, she might as well have it with style!

@sozobe,
Make sure you write down the "PD" or pupillary distance. The eye doctor kinda rolled his eyes at me when I asked, but he did it.
