George, What a handsome young man, and a fencer? I see a dimple in that cheek. Is this your No.1 son?

Nigel is my youngest. Fencing is a big deal for him because he is not a
naturally gifted athlete (Dad's genes). But he went out for fencing as a
freshman and stuck with it. He managed to make varsity last year and so
win his letter.

Thanks, osso. I wish I could say I took it.
Nigel was having yearbook pix taken and The Lovely Bride wanted some
pictures of him in his fencing gear. We've got some proofs of shots the
photog took of him with the mask on.

George,

Are you still using pseudonyms instead of telling us the real names of your children? Smile

It's one half of a .... pit wheel (whatever the name for that might be): more than 100 years ago, they wanted to get coal here .... and got thermal salt water instead.
(Better to live in a spa than besides a coal mine!)

And a couple of years ago, this became the attraction ... a present by some patients, from a former mine.

While we wait for CJ's photos ...

Have to drive to mother's (in my native town, 10 miles away) at least once per day. Today a second time.

George's remark gave me the idea to take a photo of these wheels (and "no, it's not torn by the Mercedes in the background")

Look at the geranias on the neighbouring house! (We had had the warmest late October ever recoorded today: 24°C [75°F] today here!!!)

Nice pictures everyone, especially from fairytale land (Walter's place).

Yes, I'll post some pictures of Hawaii, Miss Letty, as soon as I have
uploaded them (later).
