The NCAA Tourney has started. A2k sports junkies didn't get around to starting a game for us to enjoy.
Instead, I suggest we self-report has well or poorly we are faring.
'Nova wont be up there this year. Theyve lost a years worth of lat ditch fighting spirit. Most pf their wins last year (including the Nationals) hd them at many last second shots, and coupla OTs. I dont think theyve shown me that dig in spirit this year. (Unless coach has a whole new game)
PS, I only did brackets one year and it took the fun out of the game for me. It became mere 'win at all costs'
some real bracket busters this weekend neh? Looks like were gonna see some replay of NCAAs of old, with UNLV in there (or was I dreaming?). Nova didnt have a really great opponent yet, I think theyre gonna fold in the "E8"

I have Villanova in the final against UVA. Half of my final has been trashed. I predicted that 'Nova wins it all. Made my WVA friends unhappy when I named 'Nova.
My bracket was so destroyed apparently (though I had Duke win it all), ESPN won't let me see it. They offered me a second chance to pick a new remainder bracket. If memory serves me? I had Villanova going to the Final Four. So it must have been the other two divisions that were nuked to ashes.
I never do brackets. I have enough rooting interest for the various teams not to want to gamble on it.
As far as that goes, both my Blue Devils and Duke-scion Bobby Hurley's Sun Devils underperformed this year. But it was good to see Syracuse do so well. Their defense is a tribute to the old Big East. It's the same way they've played for 30 years. Truly unique.
