I have to agree with you for once - we have been struggling with them since the foundation of the Federal Republic of Germany in 1949.

@Walter Hinteler,
US President Donald Trump has labelled a Russian nationalist group as a terrorist organisation.
The announcement marks the first time the US government has applied the label to a white supremacist group.
The Russian Imperialist Movement is believed to have offered military training to neo-Nazi fighters and aided election interference in the US.
The group is also thought to have been involved in neo-Nazi bombings at several locations in Sweden in 2016 and 2017.

@Walter Hinteler,
n Germany, a total of 22,337 offences committed by right-wing extremists have been provisionally registered for 2019 in the Criminal Investigation Reporting Service for Politically Motivated Crime (PMK), where the offence also had a right-wing extremist background. These were mainly propaganda offences and cases of incitement of the people, but also almost 1,000 attempted and executed acts of violence such as assault and homicide.

In 2018, the police had still counted 20,431 right-wing extremist motivated crimes, in 2017 a total of 20,520, but according to the report, the number of violent crimes included in this figure fell - from 1156 in 2018 to 986 last year.

Any number on crimes committed by migrants? Germany is not about to make those numbers public.

Certainly there are migrants within right wing groups.

The Criminal Investigation Reporting Service for Politically Motivated Crime (PMK) does so.
Police is state affairs here. Politically Motivated Crime (PMK) refers to a definition system for the statistical recording of political offences within the Federal Republic of Germany. It was introduced nationwide in 2001 by resolution of the Conference of Interior Ministers.

The PMK statistics divide the recorded crimes into the five phenomenon areas of politically motivated crime "left" (PMK-left), "right" (PMK-right), "foreign ideology" (PMK - foreign ideology), "religious ideology" (PMK - religious ideology) and "other or not to be classified" (PMK-other).

My response was - according to the topic - about the latest figures given in parliament yesterday.
However, in its response to the Greens' parliamentary question, the German government emphasised that the figures quoted for 2019 were provisional and "may still be subject to change". According to the Federal Ministry of the Interior, the final case figures on politically motivated crime will be presented in May.

@coldjoint,
I'm not a member of any of such groups nor do I personally know any of those right wing persons closer (besides from the period decades ago as probation officer) to be able to give an answer.

Then you have no idea if migrants belong to these groups. Why say it?

The president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, Josef Schuster, told the Jüdische Allgemeine (the highest-circulation periodical of German Jewry): "Right-wing radicals unscrupulously exploit the corona crisis to spread their brown poison. As always, they do not shy away from trampling on the suffering of the Shoah survivors and hurting them deeply once again."

Why?
On the eve of the Holocaust memorial day Jom Haschoa, an online discussion organised by the Israeli Embassy in Germany with a survivor of the Nazi death camp Sobibor was disrupted.

Ambassador Jeremy Issacharoff announced on Tuesday morning on Twitter that anti-Israeli right-wing activists had interrupted the lecture of Tswi Herschel, who had been connected from Israel, showed pictures of Adolf Hitler and shouted anti-Semitic slogans.

The event had been announced by the embassy via Facebook a few days ago and was initially open to all interested parties. The embassy is now considering filing charges against the troublemakers, a spokeswoman told the German Press Agency. There were no video or audio recordings of the event. The Berlin police told the newspaper "Tagesspiegel" that, regardless of a possible complaint by the embassy, they would start their own investigations into the matter.

While Muslim sex offenders are jailed, Prince Andrew doesn’t even have to talk to the police.

That’s the real scandal.

The Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) and several state criminal investigation offices are investigating right-wing extremist terrorist threats to politicians, public prosecutors and journalists.

The threats went to (as far as known so far)
•two members of the Bundestag,
•two members of the state parliament from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Bavaria,
•the Schwerin public prosecutor's office
•nine editorial offices
•and a Berlin law firm.

The sender is the so-called "state coup orchestra" (Staatsstreichorchester), which has already attracted attention several times in the past with similar death threats. The terror letters were signed with "Sieg Heil" and "Heil Hitler". They say that there is enough ammunition to liquidate each of the addressees.

@Walter Hinteler,
On May 8 2020, Germany will mark 75 years since the end of World War II, a date some believe deserves a public holiday. The AfD’s Alexander Gauland has said it was a day of "absolute defeat" for Germany.

Gauland is regarded as "moderate" within the far-right "Action for Germany (AfD) party.

"You can't make May 8 a happy day for Germany," the 79-year-old told German broadcaster RND. "For the concentration camp inmates it was a day of liberation. But it was also a day of absolute defeat, a day of the loss of large parts of Germany and the loss of national autonomy."

Gauland, who is the parliamentary leader of the AfD in the Bundestag [federal parliament], has previously caused controversy by saying that Germany could also be "proud" of its soldiers in World War II.

@Walter Hinteler,
It is a public holiday over here. Monday wasn’t, although it should have been, it certainly was on the calendar.

The Tories have long resented the May Day holiday brought in by Jim Callaghan’s Labour government. John Major did the same for the 50th anniversary.

They’d rather remember the Nazis than respect worker’s rights. Let’s just hope they don’t try to do it again next year.

@izzythepush,
In April 1933 Hitler declared May 1 a "holiday of national work". (The decades before, it was only recognised by a few German states and/or a half day off.) On the 2nd of May the same year, Hitler had the unions smashed, their houses occupied by SA and SS troops and hundreds functionaries arrested and numerous send in the concentration camps.

However, in 1945, the first free May Day celebrations in 13 years could take place in some places already occupied by the Allied Forces, organised by surviving Social Democrats, Communists and trade unionists.
And since then, it's still a public holiday here.

@Walter Hinteler,
Germany experienced 2,000 crimes against Jews and Jewish institutions last year, a 13% rise on the previous year, according to a Sunday newspaper. That’s about a tenth of all politically motivated offenses.

The 41,000 cases overall represented a 14% increase on the level in 2018, with 22,000 crimes classed as extreme right and 10,000 crimes as extreme left — often so-called "propaganda” acts such as smearing graffiti, with some far more serious.

These categories had grown by 9 and 24% respectively, Welt am Sonntag reported.

Heads up, there are a lot of Islamists in Germany. Islam teaches hate for Jews. And it teaches it in Germany.
