we have vinegaroon spiders that look very much like that. Our first chelicerea were water dwellers in the Ordovician. Eurypterids, early canceraes, Limulii, and a bunch of others. Seems that vinegaroons and camel "Spiders" are another of the dry land "Living fossils"

Im interested in the SE Asian Amber deposits. Maybe time for a road trip.
