Is the new Solo film about observation being something that examines reality's history after the history has happened?

I suspect that it's about the early years of Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Lando Calrissian.

Probably also an opportunity to fill in a period of the Star Wars timeline.

It is all those things, but I noticed a pattern in the trailer that suggests something to do with history and observation
