I thought that play was a thumb in the face of Belicheck. The Pats tried the same play earlier in the game with not so great results.

The Victory parade was quite enjoyable. Jason Kelsey's "Chase Utley" reprise was done with a minimum of class so that the TV station shut the sounnd level down.

Whatever the reason for excluding Butler at a critical time, it will be regretted for a while (unless a person detests the Patriots - I had no major interest n either SB team, sort of rooted for Eagles just because they've been waiting so long to this moment).



Now on to baseball season and the balance of hockey season!

Football is a game based on "last men standing". You do the best with wht you got. Nobody should control a games outcome that much. MAYBE, the birds were just the better team on that particulr day, even with a second quarterback
