When I recieve picture ( jpg) files, they arrive as a .DAT instead of JPG.
How can I convert them on my computer so i can open them?
I have tried renaming them, I have also tried using diffrent programs to open them with but nothing seems to help?

Sounds like someone sent you a database of image files instead of the individual image files.

Make sure they save the files originally in JPG format.

it is mr wolf who is sending them . And yeah , he saves them as JPG on his desktop, then attaches them to email and then I get them.
So it is something that HE is doing and I cant fix/or convert then?
