Ok, I consider myself to be an intelligent monkey, so I can't figure out why there doesn't appear to be a way to bring topics in a forum up by posted date order. I have searched for this choice in my profile page, as well (sometimes the vewing option is there). Can someone enlighten me? I'm not interested in looking at posts in order of responses.

that is how the software displays new posts and topics.
it is not possible to sort them by initial post...
