@ican711nm,
Hey ican. Some people might think that was a coded message to our enemies. I can't imagine it having any other interested audience.

CO2 has gone up at the same time temperature has gone up.

A more careful examination of the data on your part would reveal to you that Temperature did not always go up when CO2 went up. If it did, the conclusion would first appear to be that CO2 going up caused temperature to go up. The only other possible explanation would appear to be that something which caused CO2 to go up also caused Temperature to go up.

However, temperature went down during the past decade, while CO2 went up!

More about this later.

That makes no sense ican since you just argued that they didn't always go up together.

@parados,
Parados, what do you think the phrase if it did means?

As of December 20, 2007, more than 400 prominent scientists from more than two dozen countries have voiced significant objections to major aspects of the alleged UN IPCC "consensus" on man-made global warming.

Research physicist Dr. Tom Quirk, a former University lecturer, fellow of three Oxford Colleges, and a board member of the Australian based Institute of Public Affairs, authored a June 7, 2007 paper questioning carbon dioxide measurements in the atmosphere titled "Everyone is Entitled to Their Own Opinion But Not Their Own Facts." Quirk's paper found that "it is not possible to compare peaks and valleys in CO2 measurements from VOSTOK or EPICA with contemporary atmospheric time series. There is a mismatch in gas age resolutions. Peaks are flattened and valleys are fill of rice core measurements." The paper concluded, "Thus on our contemporary timescale it is not possible to say that CO2 level has not been above 300 ppm for the last 500,000 years. The same comment applies to comparing the ‘rapid' run up of contemporary CO2 levels with the ice core records where ‘sharp' pulses of less than 100 years may well be smoothed away." http://www.lavoisier.com.au/

If any of you had scientific training AND a back bone you would admit Global Warming is a guess. It is propogated by thuggery and will go down as one of the if not THE most shameful example of fully funded hysteria.

@parados,
From 1966 to 2010--44 years--RSI has INCREASED and so have both AAGTA and CAD.

AAGTA = Average Annual Global Temperature Anomaly
RSI = Reconstructed Solar Irradiation
CAD = CO2 Annual Density

The increase in AAGTA = 0.533 - (-0.185) = 0.718 °C = 1.292 °F.
The increase in RSI = 1366.20 - 1366.00 = 0.020 W/m^2.
The increase in CAD = 390.09 - 319.78 = 70.31 ppm.

CAGT = Century Average Global Temperature, 1901-2000 = 287.06 °K = 516.71 °F.

One degree Celsius = one degree Kelvin.

100% x increase in AAGTA / CAGT = 100% x (0.533 - (-0.185)) °C / 287.06 °K = 100% x 0.718 / 287.06 = 0.250%.

100% x increase in RSI / RSI = 100% x (1366.20 - 1366.00) / 1366.00 = 100% x 0.020 / 1366.00 = 0.00146%.

100% x increase in CAD / CAD = 100% x (390.09 - 319.78) / 319.78 = 100% 70.31/319.78 = 21.99%.

It is thereby proven that ... ??? ...

THE AVERAGE AND MEAN ANNUAL GLOBAL TEMPERATURES INCREASED ABOUT 1°C (1.8°F) IN THE LAST 100 YEARS.

Dr. Alex Robson, a professor in the School of Economics in the College of Business and Economics at the Australian National University and a former Economist at the Federal Treasury, ridiculed the notion of taking out an "insurance policy" against man-made global warming. "Simply put, as far as the benefits of emissions reductions are concerned, there is no ‘risk' for Australia to ‘manage,'" Robson wrote in a paper on June 29, 2007. "As a matter of science, economics and logic this ‘insurance policy' analogy is completely inappropriate and indeed grossly misleading. As far as Australia's CO2 emissions reductions are concerned, the entire ‘risk management' argument simply cannot be sustained," Robson explained. "A policy of emission reductions is like taking out an ‘insurance policy' in which there is never any positive payoff," he added. http://www.lavoisier.com.au

Total solar irradiance has NOT increased. It has DECREASED over the period 1966-2010. Ican, you are AGAIN confusing the 11-year (approximately )solar cycle with total solar irradiance. Over the 11 year cycle the output of the sun varies CYCLICALLY, anbd you can only compare total output at similar points in the cycle. The last sevceral cycles have varied between about 10.4 years and 13+ yerars, so 1966 and 2010, while they are a multiple of 11 years apart are NOT at similar points in the cycle. The last cycle ended in August-Sep. 2009 and is starting back up again in 2010. It will go down again in 5 years or so. If you don't control for the 11 year cycle and its vagaries, you produce gibberish. Ergo, you are producing gibberish.
