So Lachlan Murdoch is suing a local news website, Crikey, for defamation for saying the Murdoch's are unindicted co-conspirators in Jan 6.

Which is kind of funny, given the Murdoch history of slamming defamation cases against them as 'stifling the press'.
And then I listen to this podcast
Is Trump back in Murdoch’s good books?

As an ungentle reminder of how much Fox News is responsible for Trump, but even more so I had a mild epiphany about why they support Trump. I thought it was political/power, but it's just as much for ratings - which is why they went off Trump for 100 days post the Jan 6 hearings - they perceived he wasn't attracting as many TV eyeballs so they started boosting the 'fresh' Ron De Santis. But now the FBI raids are dragging eyeballs back to Trump.
The Murdochs truly are despicable. To quote Mediawatch - they speak power to truth.
