It's over. Finally.
Following the fourth coronial inquest. (Yes, that right. 4 inquests)
And the verdict?
Exactly which she said in the first place.:

Quote:
Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton sat at the front with her husband Rick Creighton to her left. He comforted her at times with his arm around her shoulder. To her right was her former husband Michael.

The most poignant moment occurred when the Coroner spoke directly to the Chamberlains and told them she was sorry for their loss.

In the public gallery there were tears and people choking back their emotions. Aidan Chamberlain who was just 6 years old when his baby sister was taken by a dingo cried and hugged his mother and father. You can only imagine how the whole saga has affected him over the years. He's now 39.

This week we were reminded of the simple conclusion that 32 years ago a dingo could have taken Azaria (ABC TV, file photo) (Stateline NT)

Thirty-two years on... a dingo did steal the baby:

As it happened: Azaria Chamberlain inquest:

Your vitriolic comments are as acerbic as they are rancorous, and are most likely to cause cancer symptoms in the casual reader.

All I said was that the Brits bid of 1 billion for David Jones was most probably a hoax; and that indeed is what it turned out to be. Just read the Sydney Morning Herald.

If you read the Australian you may have read that the Brits were still insisting that it was a ‘good bid’. Just consider that their HQ is a ruin situated between a wig shop and a noodle bar in the back streets of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Now turn the bloody heating up and put another Shrimp on the Barbie; or should that really be ‘barby’?

Ladies, please ignore the first line, it appears erroneously and is only a ‘sound bite’ for upcoming congressional hearings.

IT'S PAY DAY: Politicians award themselves $5500 'carbon tax bonus'
Just three months after Federal MPs were given a $44,000 pay rise, they are getting another boost. Meanwhile, the nation's lowest-paid workers struggle with just an extra $17.10 a week, $890 a year.

It seems some are more equal than others!

Been playing around with twitter this afternoon ... just seeing what's there (lots!) & getting the hang of it. I have a feeling this might be a trap that consumes hours & hours of my time.

Anyway came across this Telstra "down under" Olympic ad.
Hey, I like it! Smile
(Probably because I love Colin Hay - it was on his site)
Not that I like it enough to "send a hero message" to Oz Olympians though. Wink
