Salty tears
Overflow
Onto printed words
Leaving spots
Amongst the pages
Black and white
Becomes faded grey
As anguish washes
Down
The bounded spine
Poignant eyes
Search for hidden secrets
Lost between the lines
Figures fade
Amid the quiet pages
Eager
For a never-ending story
Left hanging
Onto the last words
The End
Alas!
Your torment
has
no equal
unless
of course
there shall be

sequel?
