Time for our Super Bowl pickum game. Just a quick review. 1st, pick the winners of the 4 wild card games. Then, after they play, you pick the winners all the remaining games, all the way to the Super Bowl. Since I cannot remember how the points are done for each round, I will leave it to either George or RJB to remind us all on that.
Step 1 involves the Wildcard games this weekend:
Saturday, 1/6
Tennessee @ Kansas City
Atlanta @ LA Rams
Sunday, 1/7
Buffalo @ Jacksonville
Carolina @ New Orleans
Picks for all four games are due before kickoff of the first game (4:20 ET)
@CoastalRat,

Your objective in this game is to successfully pick the Super Bowl winner. If you can do that, you win.
But most of us won't be able to do that. Deep sighs.
Not to worry! There is more to this game!
You collect points along the way for correct picks.
You may not get the Super Bowl champion but you can end up with MORE CUMULATIVE POINTS than most other players.
Here is how it works:
- You get 1 point for each correct pick in the 4 Wild Card games...
- Plus you get 4 points if you get all 4 games right.
Then, you get 2 points for each game you get right in the first round of the playoffs...
and 4 points for predicting the winners in next round
and 8 points for correctly choosing the Super Bowl champion.
I tried this formula out last season. As the huckster-in-chief, my objective was/is to keep folks interested. I have only one minor adjustment this time.
@CoastalRat,
I'm including my picks as well as Mrs. Ragman (A.K.A Maxine).
My picks:

@Ragman,
Welcome to the game, Maxine!
@Region Philbis,
Would I be correct in saying that after the end of the Wild-card rounds, you have to make all your predictions/guess in advance at one time...or was that only done for one year?
@Ragman,
You are correct.
Make one set of picks before this Saturday/Sunday covering the Wild Card games. Then make a second set before the following weekend predicting the winners all the way through the Super Bowl.
Pretty simple, eh?
@CoastalRat,
I'll take the home teams this year...
