Sea of Words

Some say,
I am a poet.
But really I'm only human
If they knew,
Then what would they say of me?
I am there.
Lost in the words,
Unable to interpret-
The thoughts within me,
From the page that writes me.
I bottle up emotions
And toss my troubles
Into the far off sea.
Thoughts forgotten,
Awaiting in distant shores.
Even my pen man ship
Throws thoughts overboard
Into the black ink sea.
And how many thoughts drown
Before they reach the page?
