you and I don't get along.

I feel like I don't belong.

I pretend to enjoy this madness.

you are a time and a place.

I wish I never saw your face.

I wonder if you weren't here.

I think my mind would be clear.

We're not meant to know.

the answers clearly show.

I think that would be pretty as a song lyric.
It's really asking questions to which none of us have the answers ... but most of us have been there.
I'd write more but my cat is on my mouse mat attacking me ... it's lunchtime!

You poems have essence. Good job!
edit -- Hmm.. I don't know about being good lyrics for a song with this one. Always seemed far more melodious. But again, you just never know. And it doesn't hurt a bit to try it out. Specially if you have the talent, anyway.
