Agony of repentance

"I opened too much with poetry here.
And now I have come the page to clear.

I thank you for reading, I thank you who care.
When you need a prayer, I will try to be there.

Jackie,

What a powerful poem! I felt so saddened after reading it, which, of course, you were aiming for.

Your diction was fantastic, Jackie. You are quite a writer.

Are you at liberty to discuss what motivated such sorrow?

The agony of repentance and a hateful vengeance--what battles you are fighting here!
Like Letty, I would love to know the source of your sorrow, but it probably is too painful to discuss. It is also what makes your story so powerful, the intense sense of helplessness and anguish.
It made me hope that you will someday be able to stand up to whatever it is that is making you so sad and say, "Enough! I've repented enough."
