Who determines if a child is abandonded from the natural father? How much time has to pass for it to be called abandonment. What are the results of abandonment for the natural father if he has stopped paying child support because the natural mother said she didn't want it she just wanted me out of their lives and have her new husband adopt my daughter? I live in NY and my daughter is in Las Vegas.
